Connecting, Learning & Sharing
Mercury imbues a learning culture based on our collective experience; we are committed to sharing evidenced based knowledge, building alliances and providing a platform for new information and innovation.
We are about creating linkages to ideas and people, both in Australia and around the world, to stimulate thinking about changing the way we live and interact with the world around us.
We believe it is important to reconnect to the old ways, perhaps forgotten by some, and learn new ways, that create enable the creation of value and that are generative rather than exploitative.
On the Sharing the Economy page you can read how we work to put our ideas in action.
As part of our learning culture based on our collective experience, we are committed to sharing evidenced based knowledge, building alliances and providing a platform for new information and innovation.
One implementation of this is the Australian Collaborative Library. The Library is a searchable knowledgebase about collaborative enterprise in Australia; what it is, and why and how to do it. The Library was established in 2016 using DokuWiki wiki software.
Currently in its early stages of development, Mercury’s vision for the Library is to build a needs based resource to serve a range of people from interested communities to seasoned practitioners and researchers.
If you wish to participate in building this resource, please register your interest at the Library.
Networks & Alliances
We seek to build networks and alliances with people and organisations that value collaboration and enterprise.
